The world can be frenetic, polarized, and stressful. You don’t have to.

Just act medium.

If your life has leaned toward fear, anxiety, or imposter-syndrome, you don’t need to over-solve the issue.

Focus on the simplicity and clarity of the middle way.

Not too high; not too low. Don’t be a jerk; don’t be a sycophant. Be yourself…with confidence.

Be Kind. Be Calm. Find Joy.

If you’re looking for more peace, contentment, and fulfillment in life, I’ll grant that the solution is not easy…but it’s also not complicated. Life isn’t something to be won, rather it’s about connecting with kindness, calm, and actually enjoying your life.

If fame and fortune are not your goals - but being a good person and finding contentment in life are - you have to stop letting judgment (whether real or imagined) of others drive you. Boil down your actions to what actually builds the calm and joy you’re looking for.

I know fear can sneak in when you think about change in life. What if I want to change my job but can’t find another one? What if I lose friends if they don’t think I’m the same? What if some people don’t like me if I stop people-pleasing? Trust me - when you tap into your authentic self, you will find the place(s) you fit in perfectly in life. And on those occasions you find yourself out of your element, you know exactly how to act…like yourself.

People tend to forget the things you say and do, but they remember how you make them feel. Being kind to others makes you feel better about yourself, and you are actively contributing to a social good.

Life is not a zero sum game. The more you give, the more you get in return.

Anxiety does not add to your life. It either distracts you from the solution or causes you to miss the goodness in life.

The tighter we hold onto things, the more difficult they are to enjoy. The answer is to let go.

Life is not about winning, being right, or having more than someone else. We think those things make us happy, but they’re fleeting. Life is about enjoying the ride.

No matter what’s going on in your life, find ways to channel joy. It’s good for you and those around you.
